Congratulations to Gene Tsudik for being awarded the Test of Time Award at the 2024 Network and Distributed System Security Symposium (NDSS 2024)! This award recognizes the most influential papers with significant impact on the field of computer and network security that have been published in past NDSS Symposia.

Prof. Tsudik, along with collabortors: Karim Eldefrawy, Daniele Perito, and Aurelien Francillon, were recognized for their 2012 hybrid scheme named SMART (Secure and Minimal Architecture for Establishing Dynamic Root of Trust); a new approach that combined hardware and software design to efficiently establish a dynamic root of trust on low-end embedded devices.
