Athina Markopoulou
Athina Markopoulou is a Professor in the Department of EECS at UCI and the Director of ProperData. Her research interests are in Privacy and Data Transparency, Network Measurement, Mobile and IoT. Her personal page is athinagroup.eng.uci.edu/athina.
Gene Tsudik
Gene Tsudik is a Distinguished Professor in Computer Science, at UCI. He is an expert in Security, Applied Crypto, Privacy. In this project, he is leading the effort on designing novel IoT architectures that guarantee Privacy-by-Design.
Scott Jordan
Scott Jordan is a Professor in Computer Science at UCI. He brings experience in crafting legislation in telecommunications and privacy, including his recent contribution to CCPA. In this project, he will work at the interface between technology and policy.
Zubair Shafiq
Zubair Shafiq is currently an Associate Professor of Computer Science at UC Davis. He is an expert in Measurement, Web, and Privacy. He will lead the effort to understand and tackle privacy issues in the online advertising ecosystem. 
David Choffnes
David Choffnes is an Associate Professor in CS and a member of the Cybersecurity and Privacy Institute at Northeastern. He is an expert in Networks, Measurement, Mobile and IoT Privacy, and the director of the Mon(IoT)r Lab. He will primarily work on developing network measurement and mediation tools for privacy.
Alan Mislove
Alan Mislove is a Professor in CS, Associate Dean for Undergraduate, and a member of Cybersecurity and Privacy Institute at Northeastern. He is an expert in S&P, Algorithm Auditing and will work on measurement tools for discrimination and privacy violations. As Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies, he will also be the faculty lead for broadening participation in education.
Konstantinos Psounis
Konstantinos Psounis is a Professor in ECE at USC. He is an expert in Wireless Networks, Privacy, and Optimization. In this project, he will work with other team members on formulating and optimizing privacy-utility tradeoffs.
Salman Avestimehr
Salman Avestimehr is a Dean’s Professor and the inaugural director of the USC-Amazon Center on Trustworthy AI at Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science and the Computer Science Department at the University of Southern California. His research interests are in the areas of decentralized and federated machine learning, information theory, security, and privacy. In this project, he will work with other team members on federated learning and privacy.
Aleksandra Korolova
Aleksandra Korolova is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at USC. Her interests are in applications of algorithms, machine learning, and measurement to identifying and addressing problems of pressing and anticipated societal concern, including privacy, fairness and algorithm auditing. She will be the Theory Lead in this project.
Woodrow Hartzog
Woodrow Hartzog, JD, LLM, PhD is a Professor of Law and Computer Science at NEU. In this project, he will work on data protection and privacy policies, and at the interface of technology and policy.
Nikolaos Laoutaris
Nikolaos Laoutaris is a research Professor at IMDEA Networks Institute. He is an expert in Networks, Measurement, Transparency, Economics. He will be an International Collaborator in this project, and he will primarily focus on applying concepts from economics to data valuation and minimization.
